Sergeant Phelps (P. S. No. 1) present:-Sau Yin states: I am a prisoner in Victoria Gaol undergoing a sentence of 9 months imprisonment with hard labour for keeping a common gaming house at No. 2, Wa Lane.

The paper produced was seized by the Captain Supt. of Police at No.3 East Street on the 21st. June, the day that I was arrested.

The paper is a list of persons who were in receipt of hush money, the hush money was paid in respect of the gambling house I kept at No.2, Wa Lane.
